HOW TO TAKE YOUR DOG`S MEASUREMENTS

To ensure a correct fit, it is extremely important that you know your dog`s correct measurements.

Please take the time to properly measure him or her as all our Staffordshire Bull Terrier Products are individually Handmade in our workshop to your specifications.

We will produce your order to the measurements we are given, allowing for extra room for growth if your dog is under 2 years old on our Standard Collars.

To measure the neck  for a Standard Collar take a soft tape measure and measure around the centre of the neck, do not pull the tape too tight or have it too loose.

Our  standard Collars have 5 holes of adjustment which covers a 3" (75mm) neck range. If your dog is adult we will  make the Collar so that it will fit on the centre hole, which gives a balanced finished result. If under 2 years old we will make the measurement given as the 1st or 2nd hole to allow for growth.

To measure for a Check Collar or Check Set ( not adjustable ) please measure the narrowest part of the neck, the Collar leather section will then be made 2" (5cm) smaller than the neck measurement given to allow it to to act as a Half Check. If your Dog / Bitch is under 2 years old and still growing an adjustable one would be a better choice.

For the Harness Belt Measurement..... measure your dog with a soft tape measure around the rib cage area, just behind the front legs.

Our Harnesses have 4 holes of adjustment on each of the front straps

and 11 holes of adjustment on the belt strap.

Once you have taken the measurements please enter them into the box provided for any product that you wish to purchase, together with the age and sex.
